JOHNSON SHOT in English
JOHNSON SHOT is a French brand that makes a beer snorkel — the accessory that clips onto the neck of a glass bottle and lets air in, so the pour runs continuously instead of glugging. These are our English-language guides: what the object is, which materials are worth paying for, and what actually works at a party. The shop, the timed challenge and the terms of sale are in French.

What a beer snorkel is, in one paragraph
When you tip a bottle upside down, air has to get in for the liquid to get out — and both have to use the same neck, which is why a bottle glugs and empties in bursts. A beer snorkel clips onto the neck and adds a second path, reserved for air: it travels up a small tube straight into the top of the bottle, the two flows stop fighting each other, and the pour becomes steady. That is the whole idea. The full guide covers the physics, the naming (beer snorkel, chug buddy, and the French snorkel apéro are the same object), and the five things worth checking before buying one.
One thing is worth saying up front, because it is the only real risk the object carries: a snorkel does not change how much alcohol a bottle contains, it changes how fast it is drunk — and speed is what sets the peak blood alcohol level. It is an accessory for adults, it works exactly as well with a soft drink, and it never goes near driving.

Who publishes this
JOHNSON SHOT is a French brand, founded in Paris and registered in Montpellier, published by Christophe Letisserand, a sole trader (SIRET 880 682 554 00022, EU VAT FR86 880 682 554). It makes one object and runs a national timed challenge around it. The full identity, registration details and contact address are on the about page, and can be cross-checked against the French public business registers.
We say this because it is the single most useful thing to check in this category, which is saturated with resale from shops that publish no company details at all. On an object that a drink passes through, an anonymous seller is reason enough to move on — ours included, if we did not tell you who we are.
The product, and where to find it
The JOHNSON SHOT is made of BPA-free food-grade plastic and food-grade silicone, with no metal parts. It comes apart for cleaning and goes in the dishwasher, in four colours, at a pre-order price of €24.99, with shipping estimated for October 2026 to mainland France and Europe.
The shop itself is in French. Ordering, delivery, the stopwatch, the city ranking and the terms of sale all live on the French site, and the French pages are the only authoritative version of anything contractual. You can see the product page in French if you want to go further.
